It was weekend of mixed fortunes but good performances for our adult teams in their respective league matches. On Friday evening, the Killinkere ladies were beaten by Arva/Killeshandra in the Paramount Doors Spring League. We had plenty of possession and great work rate but goals proved decisive for the visitors. Despite the loss, it's our new team is starting to gel and improving every week.

Meanwhile, the men's team held off a second half comeback from Drumlane to run out three point winners in their Wilton Waste Recycling ACFL match. A fantastic first half performance left us ten clear at the break but the visitors kicked some terrific scores to level the game coming down the home stretch. Killinkere held their nerve to score four points of the last five points, running out winners 3-13 to 1-16.

On Sunday afternoon, we hosted Butlersbridge in the Wilton Waste Recycling Reserve ACFL in a very entertaining clash. The Bridge's 100% record in the league looked in doubt with a few minutes to go but they managed to snatch a draw at the death, with a final score of 2-14 apiece.
